How long have you worked in the food industry and what led to you selling flavors? and how long have you worked for Weber Flavors?

I have been in the food industry for 45 years since graduating from Shippensburg State College in 1981. I worked for Seabrook Enterprises (peanut industry) for 15 years and just started my 30th year on Jan 1, 2026 for Weber Flavors. I was very fortunate to be hired by a wonderful family-owned flavor company like Weber Flavors.

What is you favorite part of the territory you cover?

I cover seven states in the Southeast for Weber Flavors: GA, FL, TN, SC, MS, AL, KY. The beautiful territory has sunshine, a music city, bourbon trails, mountains, and SEC Football, but it is the beaches of Florida that are my favorite, especially the emerald coast on the panhandle of Florida. Beautiful white sands.

What’s one fun fact you wish your customers knew about you?

When I was in 5th grade, I won first place at the Tyrone (PA) YMCA annual marble shooting contest for 5-6th graders. Also, my brother wrote a screenplay for a romantic comedy, Hometown Remedy, and I was honored to be an executive producer with a very small non-speaking role in the movie. It is currently being shown on different viewing platforms around the world.

If you could describe your personality as a flavor, what would it be and why?

Superman Ice Cream—but since I am a proud grandfather of two, Sloane & Timmy—It should be called “Super Papa”.

What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?

I like the brown flavors, like butter pecan and salted caramel, but at the end of the day I am a two scoop of vanilla ice cream guy. Weber Flavors vanilla of course!
