How long have you worked in the food industry and what led to you selling flavors? How long have you worked for Weber Flavors?
I started with Weber Flavors in February 2026, and while I’m new to Weber, I’m not new to the value-added ingredient industry. My education is in Food Science from Texas A&M. I began my career with seven years in R&D at Frito-Lay, where I built a strong technical foundation in product development. In 2007, I transitioned into sales, combining my technical background with a passion for working directly with customers. Being in technical sales allows me to bridge the gap between R&D and commercial strategy — participating in product development conversations while also bringing trend insights and innovative flavor solutions to customers. I enjoy helping brands turn great ideas into successful products, and of course, sampling their creations along the way!
What is your favorite part of the territory you cover?
As a Texas-born and true Southern gal, covering the Southwest territory is a natural fit. It’s the region I’ve called home my entire life, so I understand the culture, the flavors, and the people. There’s something special about working in a territory that reflects who you are — and I love partnering with customers in a part of the country that means so much to me.
What’s one fun fact you wish your customers knew about you?
There are quite a few fun facts, but one that often surprises people is that I was a baton twirler for 12 years. It’s a big part of my background and taught me discipline, focus, and performance under pressure. Despite my height, I never played basketball — which always catches people off guard! On a more on-brand note, I’m a natural fit at Weber Flavors because I genuinely enjoy sweet foods. Since we specialize in sweet flavor solutions, it’s safe to say I’m passionate about the products I represent!
If you could describe your personality as a flavor, what would it be and why?
I’d say a bold “Superman” swirl — vibrant, dynamic, and hard to miss. I bring a positive, energetic approach to every opportunity and am always willing to forge new paths when needed. Like a layered flavor profile, I’m resourceful and solutions-oriented, pulling together the right elements to create something that works.
What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
Chocolate — with chocolate, and more chocolate. If there’s a way to add chocolate, I’m all in. I enjoy indulgent flavor experiences, and chocolate delivers every time.
