Here at Weber we are all excited and pleased to announce that we recently passed and received an “Excellent” score on our SQF Level 3 Certification. Please see the press release below for more information.

With a score and rating of “Excellent”, Weber becomes one of the only flavor facilities in the world to achieve this level for both food safety and food quality. Administered by the Safe Quality Food Institute, the SQF certification program is a leading, global food safety and quality certification program and management system designed to meet the needs of buyers and suppliers worldwide. Obtaining this prestigious Level 3 certification requires a rigorous third party audit process in addition to an extensive review of policies, procedures, and systems. SQF Level 3 Certification provides customers and consumers with the peace of mind of knowing the product they are eating comes from a consistently safe, and high quality source. Peter Cicero, a Certified SQF Consultant with Capjem states, “An organization the size and complexity of Weber can take a significant amount of time to prepare for an SQF Level 3 audit. Weber was ready and certified in a several month time frame. This demonstrates exemplary operations, leadership, and employee commitment to achieving such an amazing feat.
