Flavors Trends First Quarter 2013

For the first quarter of 2013 here are some of the flavor trends that we have noticed.Weber Logo Small

The Top 10 Flavors Sampled for the quarter:

1. Vanilla
2. Strawberry
3. Orange
4. Chocolate
5. Mango
6. Raspberry
7. Butter/Butter Pecan/Butterscotch
8. Mint/Peppermint
9. Almond
10. Coconut

Rising Trends:These are flavors that have been increasing in popularity and include Bacon, Ginger, Black Walnut, Bourbon, Burnt Sugar, Caramel Popcorn/Butter Popcorn, Champagne, Cucumber, Graham Cracker, Hazelnut/Chocolate Hazelnut, Honey, Lemongrass, Red Currant, and Rose. These are flavors that have been requested for a variety of different applications like frozen desserts, baked goods, confections, beverages, and nutraceutical products.

Welcome Bridget Rogers!

Weber Flavors would like to welcome Bridget Rogers as our new Inside Sales representative. She is a great addition to our growing department. She is available to help with answering questions, ideas, sample requests and order assistance.

As a new employee she was given the task of answering a few silly questions to answer and let us learn a little be more about her. Here are some of her answers.

A: I Love live music and try to go to at least 1 show a week

These are flavors that have been requested for a variety of different applications like frozen desserts, baked goods, confections, beverages, and nutraceutical products.
